Brief:

During my final year of college in 2019, I was struggling with insomnia. One particularly difficult episode left me awake for two days. In a desperate attempt to find rest, I discovered an album through Reddit that finally helped me sleep. The next day, inspired by the experience, I decided to design a conceptual album packaging based on it.

Context
Poppy and her long-time collaborator Titanic Sinclair worked with computational neuroscientist Dr. Giselle Brotto and the Johns Hopkins University Brain Science Institute to craft sounds that could encourage delta-wave brain activity— a stage associated with deep sleep the picture on the right is the original cover, so taking inspiration from Poppy's white background Void and the cover I designed the album to have utility fonts - and a pretty minimal vibe, the challenge was to use Helvetica such that it still retains visual interest, I managed to create interesting layouts along with some motion posters.
